THIS YEAR’S HOUSATONIC HERITAGE WALK IS AT CAPACITY. REGISTRATIONS ARE NO LONGER POSSIBLE. WE WILL OFFER AN EVENT AGAIN NEXT YEAR. THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST!
Unique opportunity to explore a pristine Early American homesite and learn what this little piece of Warren tells us about the changing face of the area. Follow a discontinued roadbed and find out what years of research has revealed about the original homesteader.
Many thanks to the hosts for sharing the fascinating historic and natural features of their secluded private property!
The moderate 3-mile hike is part of the Housatonic Heritage Walk weekend and is offered by the Warren Historical Society and the Warren Land Trust, along with State Archeologist Dr. Sarah Sportman.
