Explore the Environs of Lake Waramaug in Warren!

The walk - part of the Housatonic Heritage series in partnership with the Warren Land Trust and the Warren Historical Society - will start at Warren’s scenic town beach on Lake Waramaug, then lead uphill for picturesque views of the lake and surrounding hills.
You will learn about the families, farms, and foresighted folks who lived, worked, and were instrumental in preserving this beautiful part of the Litchfield Hills. The walk will end with an informal celebration at the Hopkins Vineyard. Approximately 1.5 hours, 2.5 miles.

Meet at 10am at the Warren Town Beach Parking Area, 26D North Shore Road (make a turn onto small road off of North Shore Road towards the lake, opposite the turn to the Hopkins Inn and Winery).
